This sales commission calculator computes the total earnings of a sales rep based on base salary, quota attainment, tiered commission rates and accelerators above target. Enter quota, actual sales, base, commission rate and accelerator multiplier; the tool returns commission, On-Target Earnings (OTE) and effective pay-per-deal. Example: a SaaS AE with CHF 1.2M quota, CHF 80,000 base, 8% commission and 1.5× accelerator above target who sells CHF 1.5M earns CHF 80,000 base + CHF 96,000 (8% × CHF 1.2M) + CHF 36,000 (8% × 1.5 × CHF 300,000) = CHF 212,000. What if a deal cancels after commission paid?
Use a clawback clause: commission is repaid pro-rata if the customer churns within 12 months.
Is commission taxed as salary?
